Spirited Away is a 2001 Japanese animation directed Hayao Miyazaki, Its about a 10 year old girl( Chihiro Ogino) and her family moving house however her father takes a wrong turn which leads them to a magical world, not knowing there entering into a magical world filled with gods. The father insists of exploring and stubble across an empty restaurant stall, Chihiro finds a Bathhouse were she meets a young boy (Haku) who tells her to cross the river until sunsets, Chihiro runs to her parents but they have turned into pigs and she is unable to cross the river.

Haku tells Chihiro to ask for a job from the boiler man (Kamaji) . Kamaji and Lin (worker) sends Chihiro to the witch (Yububa) who owns the Boathouse, Yububa gives her a job however changes her name to Sen. Chihiro goes to visit her parents in the pigpen when she finds a goodbye card in her pocket, realizing that she's forgotten her name. Haku tells Chihiro that Yubaba controls everyone by taking there name and that she cant leave the spirit world. Chihiro lets a spirit into the boathouse thinking he's a customer( his name is No face) but suddenly a a stink spirit comes into the boathouse, Chihiro releases that he is a spirit from a polluted river, the spirit gives a magical dumpling to Chihiro in pay back for cleaning him. Meanwhile No face is tempting a worker with gold but after eating him, then a crowd of workers are hoping for tips but No face swallows another worker.

 Paper Shikigami are attacking a dragon but Chihiro releases that the dragon is Haku, Haku ( who is badly injured) landed into Yububa's Penthouse. Chihiro chases Haku but a Shikigami was stuck on Chihiro's back which turned into Zeniba ( Yubaba twin sister) she turns Yububa's baby into a mouse,  made a clone baby and turns Yububa's bird into a tiny bird. Zeniba tells Chihiro that Haku has stolen a golden seal that contains a deadly curse, Haku falls into the Boiler room with Chihiro and the mouse (Yububa's  baby), Chihiro feeds Haku the magical dumpling that makes him throw up the golden seal and a black plug which Chihiro steps on.

Haku unconcious, Chihiro decides to return the seal and apolgize for Haku, but before she lives the Boathouse, She confronts No Face who is massive. Chihito gives No face the rest of the dumpling whch leads to him chasing Chihiro and vomiting all the workers. Chihiro, No face and Boh (Yubaba's baby)  travel to Zeniba's. The damage of No Face, Zeniba blames Chihiro for letting him into the Boathouse which leads to thretening to kill her parents. Haku reveals that Boh is missing, he makes a deal with Yubaba that if he brings Boh back, she will let Chihiro and her parents be free but only if Chihiro passes the test.

Chihiro, Boh and No face arrive at Zeniba's house. Zeniba ( Granny) tells chihiro that her love for Haku broke the curse and Yubaba used the black plug to control Haku. Haku arrives (in dragon form) and collects Chihiro and Boh and takes them back to the Boathouse, However No face appeared to be good Spinner and decided to work for Zeniba. Chihiro gets her memory back while falling into Kohaku River but was washed safetly ashore. When Chihiro guesses that hes the Spirit of Kohaku River ( finding out his real name) which means Haku is free form Yubaba. But Chihiro has to pick her parents from all the pigs, Chihiro guesses that none of thm are her parents, she gets her name back. Haku takes Chihiro to the dry riverbed and promises to meet her again. Chihiro is reunited with her parents who dont remember anything.
